The St. Louis Public Schools Foundation is seeking a Development Operations Coordinator who possesses strong project management skills and a passion for youth-centered programming. This role involves close collaboration with the Chief Impact Officer to develop and monitor the implementation of contributions and transactions that support fund initiatives aligned with the Foundation's and District's strategic goals. The Foundation supports initiatives across three key domains: health, wellness, and safety; preK-8 literacy; and 6-12th grade post-secondary readiness and opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Foundation's mission and be able to effectively communicate its vision and goals. Established in 1998 as an independently governed not-for-profit organization, the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation has mobilized community resources and expertise for the benefit of students in the St. Louis Public Schools. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised and distributed millions to support SLPS students and has played a crucial role in driving reform and innovation within the district. The Foundation works closely with school leaders and District leadership to identify strategic priorities that require private sector investment to enhance student outcomes. A significant aspect of the strategic plan focuses on diversifying funding resources and increasing support from individual donors and family foundations. The Development Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Foundation's programs, advancement, and business operations. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing for a balance between work and personal commitments. The successful candidate will coordinate fundraising appeals, manage donor cultivation events, and support community engagement opportunities. Additionally, they will handle data management tasks, ensuring accurate entry and maintenance of donor records in Raiser's Edge, and generate regular fundraising reports. The role also includes managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank accounts, and providing accounting support to ensure the Foundation's financial health.
