About the position

The Scrum Master at Ford Motor Company plays a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices within the development team. This position is responsible for guiding the team through Scrum ceremonies, ensuring effective collaboration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will work closely with the product owner and development team to prioritize tasks, remove impediments, and track progress, ultimately driving the team's success in delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
• Collaborate with the product owner to define product backlog items and prioritize them.
• Work with the development team to articulate work into backlog items and ensure timely completion.
• Identify and remove impediments blocking the team's progress.
• Track and report on sprint progress and team velocity.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and help the team identify areas for improvement.
• Coach and mentor the development team on Agile methodology and Scrum framework.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Project Management with Agile Certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• SAFe® 6 Scrum Master certification.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
