About the position

The Developmental Disabilities Business Supports Unit Manager (Business Operations Manager 2) is responsible for overseeing the eXPRS IT system that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oregon. This role involves managing a team, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the IT systems align with the program's goals and compliance requirements. The position emphasizes leadership in IT project management, user acceptance testing, and effective communication across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the eXPRS IT system for needs assessment, plan of care, authorization, and provider billings.
• Support the Business and Data Analyst team with guidance and management.
• Collaborate with partners across ODHS, Department of Justice, case management entities, and providers.
• Partner with the Office of Information Services to implement changes and add features to the eXPRS system.
• Create strategic plans related to the eXPRS system and emergency management.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience, or three years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience working with eXPRS.
• Experience supervising and managing a team of professionals.
• Experience leading IT projects, including requirement writing, solutioning, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with facilitation and coaching.
• Experience working with a diverse group of community partners.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style based on audience needs.
