The Developmental Technician, HVAC/R Facilities Maintenance position at Walmart is an apprenticeship role designed for individuals to work alongside experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technicians. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC/R equipment under supervision.
• Perform major and minor preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Manage refrigerant levels and parts inventory for HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
• Track and order HVAC/R parts, developing relationships with suppliers and contractors.

Requirements

• HVAC/R Vocational or Technical Certification.
• Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous rack refrigeration experience.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
