About the position

The Product Manager (PM) at Verizon is responsible for envisioning, prioritizing, building, and selling products and services. The role focuses on driving innovation and direction for the product portfolio, ensuring that Verizon's offerings remain competitive and meet market needs. The PM collaborates with a team to create product features, manages the product lifecycle, and works closely with partners to enhance device-based services. This position requires a blend of business and technical expertise to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the product portfolio and P&L performance for device-based services.
  • Monitor launch and post-launch progress of products.
  • Review and prioritize product requirements; define the vision and business strategy for new products.
  • Identify and track KPIs to communicate with stakeholders and guide team focus.
  • Communicate technical requirements effectively to stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and perform competitor gap analysis.
  • Work closely with product marketers and engineers to define product vision and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Sales on product positioning and commercialization plans.
  • Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and achieve rapid feedback cycles.
  • Synthesize perspectives across stakeholders to make quick decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of Product Management experience.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Experience with consumer insights, market trend analysis, and analytics.
  • Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.
  • Experience in product portfolio management and understanding product P&L.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
