About the position

The DevOps & Cloud Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reliability, availability, and performance of the Bank's cloud-based infrastructure that supports its digital and API platform. This role requires collaboration with various teams to design, implement, and monitor systems that meet high performance and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, business continuity, and product teams.
  • Design, implement, and monitor systems to meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Manage and optimize APIs and SQL-based databases.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system performance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage version control systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and/or Automation Engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Golang, Bash, and Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security practices, and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and incident resolution.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
