About the position

The DevOps/Cloud Engineer position at Concentrix involves a range of responsibilities centered around the management and administration of AWS services. The role requires building a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and establishing a site-to-site VPN connection between the data center and AWS. The engineer will be responsible for managing various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM. A significant part of the job will involve creating automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployments. Candidates should have experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and UNIX shell scripting is essential. The role also requires good experience in architecting and configuring secure cloud VPCs using both private and public networks through subnets in AWS. Additionally, the engineer will need to have experience in building scripts using Maven and should be familiar with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas. Experience with AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS.
• Establish site-to-site VPN connections between data centers and AWS.
• Administer AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for deployments.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python and UNIX shell scripting.
• Architect and configure secure cloud VPCs using private and public networks through subnets in AWS.
• Build scripts using Maven and work with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Experience in creating automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, especially in EKS.
• Proficient in Python and UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience in architecting secure cloud VPCs with private and public networks.
• Familiarity with build scripts using Maven.
• Experience with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL is a must.
• Experience with AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK).
