About the position

The DevOps/Cloud Engineer position at Concentrix involves a comprehensive role focused on the management and administration of AWS services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and establishing a site-to-site VPN connection between the data center and AWS. This role requires expertise in various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM. The engineer will also be tasked with creating automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployments. In addition to AWS management, the role demands experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and UNIX shell scripting is essential. The candidate should have a solid background in architecting and configuring secure cloud VPCs, utilizing both private and public networks through subnets in AWS. The position also requires experience in building scripts using Maven and familiarity with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL. Experience with AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) is a must. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field, demonstrating a strong understanding of cloud engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS.
• Establish site-to-site VPN connections between data centers and AWS.
• Administer various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for deployments.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Experience in creating automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
