About the position

The DevOps/Cloud Engineer position at Concentrix involves a range of responsibilities centered around the management and administration of AWS services. The role requires building a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and establishing a site-to-site VPN connection between the data center and AWS. The engineer will be responsible for managing various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM. A significant part of the job will involve creating automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployments. In addition to AWS management, the position requires experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and UNIX shell scripting is essential. The engineer will also need to have a solid understanding of architecting and configuring secure cloud VPCs, utilizing both private and public networks through subnets in AWS. The role demands experience in building scripts using Maven and familiarity with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL. Experience with AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) is also a requirement. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS.
• Establish site-to-site VPN connections between data centers and AWS.
• Administer AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for deployments.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Maven, Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Experience in building and managing VPCs and establishing VPN connections.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitLab.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
