About the position

The DevOps/Cloud Engineer position at Concentrix involves a comprehensive role focused on the management and administration of AWS services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and establishing a site-to-site VPN connection between the data center and AWS. This role requires expertise in various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM. The engineer will also be tasked with creating automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployments. In addition to AWS management, the role demands experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and UNIX shell scripting is essential for scripting and automation tasks. The engineer will also need to architect and configure secure cloud VPCs, utilizing both private and public networks through subnets in AWS. The position requires experience in building scripts using Maven and a solid understanding of Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL. Familiarity with AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) is also a must. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in these areas to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS.
• Establish site-to-site VPN connections between data centers and AWS.

• Create automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for deployments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Experience in creating automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, especially in EKS.
• Proficient in Python and UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience in architecting secure cloud VPCs with private and public networks.
• Familiarity with build scripts using Maven.
