About the position

The DevOps/Cloud Engineer position at Concentrix involves a range of responsibilities centered around the management and administration of AWS services. The role requires building a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and establishing a site-to-site VPN connection between the data center and AWS. The engineer will be responsible for utilizing various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM. A significant part of the job will involve creating automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployments. In addition to AWS management, the position demands experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in the context of Amazon EKS. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and UNIX shell scripting is essential for scripting and automation tasks. The engineer will also need to architect and configure secure cloud VPCs, ensuring proper segmentation through private and public networks via subnets in AWS. The role requires experience in building scripts using Maven and familiarity with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL. Knowledge of AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK) is also a must. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in these areas to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS.
• Establish site-to-site VPN connections between data centers and AWS.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Experience in creating automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, especially in EKS.
• Proficient in Python and UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience in architecting secure cloud VPCs with proper subnet configurations.
• Familiarity with build scripts using Maven.
• Experience with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL is essential.
