About the position

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer at Randstad US, you will play a crucial role within the Health Technology Business Unit, focusing on guiding teams in their release processes and ensuring the smooth operation of cloud infrastructure. This position requires a strong background in DevOps practices, particularly with Azure and Kubernetes, and involves hands-on scripting and automation to enhance deployment and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Guide other teams in their release processes using Azure.
• Develop and maintain release automation scripts in conjunction with existing resources and tooling.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.
• Oversee the release of new software versions and manage the implementation process.
• Implement advanced observability practices using tools like Datadog and Splunk.
• Utilize Kubernetes for managing applications running in AKS.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project status and technical issues.

Requirements

• 7 - 10 years of DevOps Cloud Engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Groovy scripting for Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including network, security, deployment, and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
• Strong technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GitOps for Release Management using ArgoCD, Helm, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Open Telemetry.
