About the position

The DevOps/Cloud Engineer position at Concentrix involves a comprehensive role focused on the management and administration of AWS services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and establishing a site-to-site VPN connection between the data center and AWS. This role requires expertise in various AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM. The engineer will also be tasked with creating automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployments. In addition to AWS management, the role demands experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and UNIX shell scripting is essential for scripting and automation tasks. The candidate should have a solid background in architecting and configuring secure cloud VPCs, utilizing both private and public networks through subnets in AWS. The position also requires experience in building scripts using Maven and familiarity with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required to ensure the candidate can effectively handle the responsibilities of this role. The work environment is generally sedentary, requiring regular operation of a computer and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in AWS.
• Establish site-to-site VPN connections between data centers and AWS.
• Administer AWS services including CLI, EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for deployments.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in Amazon EKS.
• Develop scripts in Python and UNIX shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Architect and configure secure cloud VPCs using private and public networks through subnets in AWS.
• Build scripts using Maven and work with Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, and MySQL.
• Manage AWS Managed Service for Kafka (MSK).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, Glacier, Route 53, CloudTrail, and IAM.
• Experience in building and managing VPCs and establishing VPN connections.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with GitLab.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, especially in EKS.
• Experience in scripting with Python and UNIX shell.
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven and programming languages such as Java.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ, and databases like Cassandra and MySQL.
