About the position

The DevOps Engineer position at Conch Technologies is focused on implementing automation solutions and ensuring the stability and performance of the platform. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate observability tools and troubleshoot platform issues. This is a contract position based in Phoenix, AZ, requiring onsite presence from day one.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and ensure integration with existing systems.
• Implement automation solutions to streamline monitoring processes.
• Monitor and ensure platform availability, stability, and performance metrics meet predefined SLAs.
• Collaborate with SRE and Engineering teams to integrate observability tools into the Platform.
• Test and validate new product and security features.
• Identify and troubleshoot platform bottlenecks and issues in the platform's performance.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new solutions.

Requirements

• Mandatory CKA/CKAD certifications.
• Work experience with Docker images and network security.
• Familiarity with the programming language Python.
• Knowledge on how to deploy applications across environments.
• Ability to test, troubleshoot, and debug.
