About the position

The DevOps Engineer position focuses on platform automation and requires a local candidate to New York City. The role involves a hybrid work schedule with two days onsite each week. The engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of applications, utilizing various DevOps tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications end-to-end.
• Implement build automation and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
• Investigate issues and respond to customer inquiries effectively.
• Spearhead implementations independently while collaborating with team members.
• Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Terraform, Ansible, DevOps, and Containers.
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Proficiency with project tracking software, such as Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Docker, Gitlab, Kubernetes, and Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Certifications in relevant technologies are considered a huge plus.
