About the position

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This position requires a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, as well as experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of microservices architecture and be proficient in using Docker for containerization. Additionally, expertise in scripting and the development of CI/CD pipelines is essential for this role. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve deployment efficiency. This is an on-site position, and the successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with team members in person to foster a productive work environment. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, including AKS and EKS.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture to support scalable applications.
• Utilize Docker for containerization of applications and services.
• Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Docker.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
