About the position

The DevOps Engineer role is focused on automating cloud infrastructure, managing data systems, and ensuring efficient and secure deployment processes. This position requires expertise in various technologies including Terraform, AWS, Python, and Kubernetes, and involves collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to optimize cloud environments and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to deploy scalable and secure environments.
  • Optimize and manage resource provisioning, networking, and configuration.
  • Design, monitor, and maintain AWS cloud environments, including services like EC2, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and more.
  • Implement best practices for security, cost management, and performance optimization on AWS.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), ensuring smooth orchestration, scaling, and high availability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
  • Build and maintain automation scripts in Python to support deployments, monitoring, and cloud automation.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined and reliable deployments.
  • Administer Oracle/SQL/Postgres SQL databases, focusing on high availability, data integrity, and optimized performance.
  • Utilize Delphix for data masking and virtualization, supporting secure and compliant data practices across environments.
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to align goals, processes, and timelines.
  • Document infrastructure, configuration, and standard operating procedures for efficient knowledge transfer and continuity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8 years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient in Terraform, AWS services, and Python scripting.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) for managing containerized workloads.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL database management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Harness and Banzai.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer certification.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
