About the position

The DevOps Engineer role involves consulting on complex software engineering initiatives with significant impact and large-scale planning. The position requires a strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and cloud technologies, particularly Oracle and Azure. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing and resolving multifaceted software engineering challenges while collaborating strategically with client personnel.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Requirements

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly PCF and Azure.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UCD, Harness, Artifactory, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Proficient in both Linux and Windows environments.
