About the position

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer contractor to lead the migration of our build system from Jenkins to CloudBees and provide ongoing support and maintenance. This role is critical in ensuring that our development and operations teams can work seamlessly together, enhancing our CI/CD processes and overall system reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the migration plan, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally post-migration, and providing user support and training to team members. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Executing the migration plan from Jenkins to CloudBees.
• Ensuring system reliability throughout the migration process and beyond.
• Offering user support and training to team members on the new system.

Requirements

• Experience with BitBucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, and CloudBees.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or relevant experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
