About the position

The DevOps Engineer at Perry Systems, Inc. is responsible for designing, developing, and validating software applications. This role involves utilizing various tools and technologies to ensure efficient software deployment and management in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and create software applications.
• Modify and customize existing software applications.
• Test and validate software applications for performance and reliability.
• Utilize tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform for application management.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Work with databases including SQL Server and MySQL.
• Apply ITIL principles to software development and operations.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management of Technology, or related field.
• At least six months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation such as Information Technology Consultant or IT Administrator.
