About the position

The DevOps Network Engineer role is a contract position focused on leading the design, deployment, and operations of SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi projects within the Client Network Services team. This position requires strong technical expertise in networking and automation, with responsibilities that include providing technical guidance, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring adherence to best practices in network management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and operations of SD-WAN, SD-LAN, and WiFi projects.
• Develop and maintain automation for managing the data network and its dependencies.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to partner teams to drive solutions.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers, offering design, migration, and deployment guidance.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and perform break-fix network changes.
• Drive technical resolution of high-severity and low-severity incidents.
• Support the Problem Management process, including participation in post-mortem activities and presentations.
• Govern device remediation and operational resiliency activities.

Requirements

• Strong to advanced knowledge of routing and switching.
• Experience with WiFi and network automation.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Familiarity with AWS (Serverless) and Azure.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change management processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Banking and Financial Industry.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and SD-LAN technologies.
