The MBP L3 DevOps Support Engineer role is crucial in bridging the gap between the necessary actions to quickly change an application and the tasks that maintain its reliability. This position will involve collaboration with other MBP L3 Support resources to triage and deliver implementation challenges and production fixes. The MBP L3 DevOps will work closely with operations, support, and development teams to unify processes, automation, and delivery, ensuring a seamless workflow. In this role, you will help shape and build our next-generation pipeline deployment infrastructure. You will manage deployments to various environments in coordination with release management, focusing on automating the promotion process. Additionally, you will integrate vulnerability management and architect automated monitoring, alerts, and integration solutions. Engaging with development teams will be essential to optimize a commit-based build pipeline, debugging as needed. The position also requires participation in 24x7 support coverage as needed, ensuring that our systems remain reliable and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other MBP L3 Support resources to triage and deliver implementation challenges and production fixes.
  • Manage deployments to environments in coordination with release management, focusing on automating promotion.
  • Integrate vulnerability management into the deployment process.
  • Architect and develop automated monitoring, alerts, and integration solutions.
  • Engage with Development teams to optimize a commit-based build pipeline, debugging as needed.
  • Participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands.
  • Help shape and build the next-generation pipeline deployment infrastructure.
  • Participate in 24x7 support coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or other related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Understanding of DevOps best practices and methodologies.
