About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer role focuses on integrating security practices within the DevOps process. The position requires extensive experience in IT development, particularly in implementing DevSecOps tools and practices across various cloud environments. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining secure DevSecOps services, ensuring quality and security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain DevSecOps services in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Implement CI/CD best practices, including automated builds, tests, and quality gates.
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage configuration using tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
• Ensure adherence to security coding standards and utilize static and dynamic scanning tools.
• Collaborate using Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of IT development experience, with at least 5 years in DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and their security considerations.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Experience with security coding standards and scanning tools (SonarQube, Fortify, etc.).
• Programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment (Bash, Shell, Python, etc.).
• Agile/SAFe certifications or equivalent experience.
