About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer will participate in planning, coordinating, scheduling, directing, and controlling engineering and technical support activities related to software development and integration of software tools onto various execution platforms. This role involves developing and executing software and system test strategies, reviewing contractor software code for compliance with coding and cybersecurity standards, and supporting government oversight of contractor software development activities. The engineer will also provide integrated solutions for technical problems and perform other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, coordinating, scheduling, directing, and controlling engineering and technical support activities related to software development.
• Develop and execute software and system test strategies.
• Review and assess developmental contractor software code for compliance with government coding and cybersecurity standards.
• Support government oversight of contractor software development activities, including agile development activities.
• Generate recommendations regarding development, planning, automation tools, requirements prioritization, testing, evaluation, cross-system integration, fielding/delivery, and post-delivery support of software-based systems.
• Provide integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in AWS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with API development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
