Here you are a part of a team pushing boundaries to redefine the work of tomorrow for organizations, their employees, and those they serve. You have opportunities to learn and lead at a forward-thinking company, defining your path to a fulfilling career while channeling your skills toward causes that you care about - locally and globally. We've only begun reimagining the future - for our people, our customers, and the world. Let's create tomorrow together. This position is for the DevSecOps team for the EMC division of Zebra. The position offers candidates an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and solutions that this business unit delivers. The role requires on-site presence in Holtsville, NY, as this is not a remote opportunity. As a member of the DevSecOps team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software assignments that constitute a portion of larger projects. You will develop and test documentation that describes specific software functionality, participate in project code reviews, run software tests designed by more experienced engineers, and review test results to perform root cause analyses to identify problems. You will also provide recommendations and implement solutions to complex issues while ensuring compliance with quality processes and standards. Additionally, you will enhance and improve existing technologies to apply to new solutions and seek out new tools to analyze and solve problems. This role requires exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions, and you may provide guidance to non-exempt personnel. Building productive working relationships internally and externally is essential, as you will have primary intra-organizational contacts with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.
