About the position

OBXtek is seeking an experienced IT Services Program Manager to oversee and direct a large multi-disciplinary IT support group. The role involves developing complex IT program plans, managing subcontractors, and ensuring project objectives are met while addressing any issues that arise. The Program Manager will serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects, leading technical staff and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing and directing activities of a large multi-disciplinary IT support group.
• Developing complex Information Technology program plans to address needs and requirements.
• Investigating and resolving problems, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel.
• Preparing capital and operating requests, managing subcontractors' staff, and executing program plans.
• Organizing and directing work, and directing personnel and multi-discipline teams to achieve objectives.
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems associated with TO PWS requirements.
• Planning, initiating, and managing information technology projects.
• Leading and guiding the work of technical staff.
• Serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Planning project stages and assessing business implications for each stage.
• Monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• ITILv4 Foundation certification.
• Eight (8) years of progressive experience in IT program management.
