About the position

The Diagnostic Imaging Account Executive is a field-based sales role focused on selling Diagnostic Imaging products to hospitals, imaging centers, and radiation oncology facilities. This position serves as the primary contact for customers exploring the acquisition of Siemens Medical Solutions products and services, aiming to achieve business objectives and build long-term relationships with key management within customer organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve business objectives for assigned territory, including account penetration with product/solution/service offerings.
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
  • Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals and budgets.
  • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management within the customer organization.
  • Communicate current market intelligence to various decision makers within each account.
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
  • Lead territory team reviews and updates of account plan based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitive activity.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3+ years capital equipment sales experience to hospitals and/or imaging centers, or equivalent clinical/technical experience.
  • Experience carrying large quotas and working with long sales cycles, with a demonstrated success at meeting and exceeding those quotas.
  • Experience working with sales quotas and forecasting.
  • Successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to travel approximately 75%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Specific experience selling diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • 5+ years experience in a sales role, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • Professional sales training in SPIN Selling, Strategic Selling, Professional Selling Skills, Miller-Heiman, etc.
