About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I position at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare involves operating ionizing equipment to produce radiographs for diagnostic purposes. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology.
• Active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists.
• Demonstrate evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographs of body regions as ordered by licensed medical providers.
• Evaluate radiographs to acquire appropriate diagnostic information.
• Use independent judgment to optimize information for each examination performed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Follow established departmental procedures and protocols.
• Navigate emergent situations efficiently.
