The Diagnostic Imaging Tech II- MRI position at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare involves operating ionizing equipment to produce radiographic images of body regions for diagnostic purposes. The role requires proficiency in both radiologic and MRI modalities, effective communication with patients and healthcare teams, and the ability to follow established procedures while managing emergent situations.
Responsibilities
- Operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographic images for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform both radiologic and MRI modalities as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Follow established departmental procedures and protocols.
- Navigate emergent situations efficiently.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology.
- Active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana.
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography by the ARRT or 1-year demonstrated competency may be considered.
- Evidence of compliance with AART continuing education requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
