About The Position
The Ultrasound Radiology Tech position at Community Medical Center is a part-time role within the Diagnostic Imaging Department, specifically designed for weekend shifts. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate diagnostic ultrasound services, utilizing independent judgment based on established ultrasound protocols and under the direction of a radiologist. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and must hold or be eligible for the RDMS registry. If the candidate is registry eligible, they are required to obtain registration with ARDMS within 12 months of hire. This position demands basic verbal communication skills and basic computer proficiency. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of performing on-call duties, including shifts, holidays, and weekends, with a required response time of 30 minutes for callbacks. A BLS Health Care Provider certification must be obtained within three months of hire. While recent hospital experience is preferred, additional training in radiologic technology and vascular ultrasound is considered a plus.
