About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Universal Diagnostic Laboratory is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on the diagnostic laboratory services market in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in outside sales to meet strategic sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to provide excellent customer service
  • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in outside sales, specifically in diagnostic laboratory services, DME, or pharmaceuticals
  • Proven experience in account management and business development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to drive sales strategies
