About the position

The Diagnostic Sales Associate (DSA) plays a crucial role in business development by generating leads for Diagnostic Sales Managers and promoting Antech's products and services. This position focuses on building strong customer relationships, executing marketing programs, and resolving client issues to drive revenue growth. The DSA is responsible for daily outbound calls, maintaining client records, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to identify new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Daily outbound calling to prospects on target account list to identify customer needs and schedule meetings for Diagnostic Sales Managers.
  • Update and maintain client records.
  • Work prospects through the sales process in a systematized, timely manner to support customer needs.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing management to identify new account or product placement opportunities.
  • Follow up on all incoming sales and marketing leads in an extremely expedited manner (less than 24 hours) and qualify each prospect accurately, logging all activities and notes in the Salesforce CRM.
  • Engage with the account by sharing appropriate product information and tracking progress of all leads.
  • Identify and generate new client relationships through outbound calls and researching.
  • Handle orders, support questions, and other inquiries as needed.
  • Set up new accounts and understand the Antech sales process steps.
  • Ability to hit lead and sales goals accurately and honestly.
  • Communicate and collaborate across the sales and marketing team, including all sales roles, customer success, and customer support with a focus on team selling and winning.
  • Conduct customer research and qualify accounts prior to the AM's first in-person visit.
  • Contact customers to confirm research findings and gain additional information.
  • May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • 1+ years previous sales experience with a background in telephone, retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Preference for veterinary industry and/or diagnostics experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly focused with a strong desire to 'hunt' and close new business.
  • Strong phone sales skills, understanding of the sales process, and the ability to make high volume outbound calls to build a prospective client list.
  • Drive to achieve goals/targets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
