About the position

The Dialysis Program Manager is responsible for overseeing patient care in home therapies programs, ensuring cost-effective clinical operations while providing guidance to the interdisciplinary team. This role involves collaboration with management to grow home therapies programs and maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of multiple Home Therapies programs, including growth, patient retention, program costs, operational methods, scheduling, and staffing.
  • Direct activities related to strategic plans, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with regional and company standards.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders and quality teams to promote home therapies growth.
  • Manage profit and loss for the assigned program, ensuring optimal performance and budget adherence.
  • Oversee all aspects of patient care for Home Therapies patients from admission to discharge.
  • Assess patient and caregiver readiness for home dialysis and provide necessary training.
  • Support patient experience initiatives and ensure staff competency in equipment operation.
  • Manage program supplies and equipment tracking, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Direct activities related to Continuous Quality Assurance Improvement and patient training success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit activities.
  • Orient and support new home therapies staff, providing ongoing education and compliance training.
  • Handle hiring, coaching, and performance management of employees.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.) with current state licensure.
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience and six months dialysis nursing experience.
  • 3+ years' supervisory or project/program management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated management skills for supervising dialysis personnel and ensuring quality care delivery.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership competencies.
  • CPR Certification with maintenance as required.
