DaVita is seeking Dialysis Support Technicians to provide essential support in delivering kidney care services to patients. This role involves working closely with patients undergoing dialysis treatment, ensuring their comfort and safety during their visits to the clinic. The position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. DaVita offers comprehensive training to equip new teammates with the necessary skills for the role.
Responsibilities
- Support patients during their dialysis treatment sessions.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
- Follow proper protocols for infection control and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work around potential COVID-19 positive patients.
- Passion for helping others and providing patient care.
- Comfortable being around blood and needles.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to work across multiple clinics if required.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided.
