About the position

The Dialysis Technician position at INTEGRIS Health involves providing clinical and technical services to hemodialysis patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role is essential in ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatment, while also managing equipment and supplies necessary for dialysis procedures. The technician will work day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, contributing to the mission of INTEGRIS Health to partner with individuals for healthier lives.

Responsibilities

• Stocks supplies, performs inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain appropriate par levels
• Prepares and maintains dialysis machines and equipment
• Observes patient, monitors and records treatment parameters, patient weight and vital signs and reports changes to RN
• Assesses patients for mode of transportation to and from dialysis (use of lift, Pal or wheelchair)
• Performs order entry, fingerstick blood sugars and ISTATS as directed

Requirements

• Entry-level position
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• CPR certification mandatory within 2 months of employment with renewal as set by the American Heart Association
