As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team, providing essential care and support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This position requires you to work closely with patients who are experiencing renal failure, ensuring they receive safe, comfortable, and high-quality care. You will be supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), and your responsibilities will include a variety of patient care activities that are critical to the treatment process. This includes cleaning and disinfecting machines after each use, conducting safety checks, and logging results to comply with quality control protocols. Safety and quality are paramount in this role. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies, state and federal regulations, and safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment. Participation in staff meetings and continuing education is also a requirement, as it helps you stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes in the healthcare field. This position is not just about performing tasks; it’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with kidney disease and contributing to the overall mission of US Renal Care.
