Dickies: FP&A Analyst

About the position

A day in the life of a Financial Analyst at Dickies looks a little like this. Reporting to the Director of FP&A (Wholesale), you will be a key finance partner across the organization to drive our brand strategy through the development of financial modeling and analytics that deliver meaningful insights into business performance. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. Report on financial performance and prepare for reviews with leadership. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Enhance, develop, and maintain business plans to align Revenue, Margin, and Marketing investments across our Wholesale segments. Analyze margin variance analysis related to customer, product, and pricing mix. Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for SG&A cost centers and provide clear cause of change support to elevate variance drivers. Elevate key findings through financial analysis to finance and business leaders to impact business decisions. Identify and initiate on opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve reporting and planning procedures. Support monthly, quarterly, annual, and strategic plan reporting packages.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a professional corporate environment
• Direct experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques
• Fluent with Excel formulas and functions
• Comfortable utilizing BI (Tableau / DOMO) and various database reporting tools
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment
