We are seeking applicants for a Die Room Technician for 3rd Shift in our New Oxford, PA facility.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all activity in the Die Room Make Ready area
- Maintains stock for repairs, such as rule, rubber, adhesive, punches, numbers and matrix
- Knows proper height rule for each machine
- Maintains notching and bending equipment
- Maintains die inventory by number & location according to Factory Card
- Installs matrix when needed
- Assists cutter operators or assistants with die repairs when possible
- Understands & follows instructions on Factory Card
- Color codes dies by year
- Inspects dies prior to run
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to network and build relationships with individuals of various experience and corporate levels both within and outside of the company
Nice-to-haves
- Background in the corrugated industry
- Experience repairing dies
