About the position

Dielectric is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to design and develop new products, focusing on broadcast and FM antennas and RF filter systems. This role offers hands-on experience from product conception to production release, making it ideal for college students nearing graduation. The position involves collaboration with the RF Systems and Components department and reports to the Director of Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products to create 3D models using ANSYS HFSS design software and other proprietary software.
• Conduct technical analysis, calculations, testing, etc. to ensure designs comply with performance requirements.
• Create product documentation and records for cost estimates, engineering change orders, and technical review.
• Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and technicians to complete design and test of RF products.
• Adapt readily to changing scope and priorities.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; RF/Antenna Engineering is a plus.
• Background in a related field (broadcast, wireless, etc.) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of RF theory related to filter/combiner design and other RF components.
• Understanding of RF test equipment (VNA, etc.).
• Experience with ANSYS Electronics Desktop and optiSlang is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python and ladder logic is a plus.
• Mathematica experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle MRP is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
