About the position

The position involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance repairs on Shamrock Fleet vehicles, including Truck Tractors, Trucks, Refrigerated Trailers, and other Fleet vehicles. The shift hours will be Sunday to Thursday from 3pm to 11pm, with a starting pay of $27/hour plus up to $7.00/hour additional differential pay for certifications. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment and performing various maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Preventative Maintenance (PM's) for all Fleet vehicles.
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs for Heavy Duty Truck Tractors, Trucks and Trailers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble Heavy Truck & Trailer components, including diesel engines, transmissions, axles, and other components or systems.
• Clean assigned work area after each job, wash or fuel trucks as required, and perform basic facility and company tool repairs.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, reporting any safety concerns or unsafe tool conditions to Shift Lead or Fleet Supervisor.
• Drive Tractor/Trailers and/or Trucks for test drives and return vehicles to various Shamrock division facilities.
• Properly use and maintain company tools while performing repairs, seeking instruction from a Supervisor when unfamiliar with operations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Level II - Three (3) years related experience in a Heavy-Duty Truck repair environment.
• Level III - Five (5) years related experience and knowledge in a Heavy-Duty Truck repair environment.
• All levels of Fleet Technician must provide all hand tools and tool boxes (lockable) required to perform the Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
