About the position
The Maintenance Technician A role involves performing repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including various complex systems such as chassis components, refuse bodies, air brake systems, and HVAC components. Responsibilities
- Perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on suspensions, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drive trains.
- Utilize electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
- Complete company training programs and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
- Ability to perform inspections and repairs on various heavy truck systems without supervision.
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
- LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus but not required.
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License is a plus but not required.
