About the position

TNA Fleet Services is seeking experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanics to provide top-notch service in a mobile/field environment. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks, ensuring high productivity and independence while working on various truck systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT Inspections on Class 6-8 trucks in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment including electrical, brake, and cooling systems.
• Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, power tools, welding equipment, and jacks for repairs.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and work within standard repair times.
• Obtain parts from approved local vendors as necessary for repairs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience.
• Valid Driver's License required; CDL-A preferred but not required.
• Must provide own hand tools adequate for job functions.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and implement instructions and guidelines.
• Must be able to move, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. on occasion.
