About the position
As a Mechanic at First Student, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles that transport students. This position involves performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems, ensuring that all vehicles are safe for road travel. You will be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes safety and innovation in the transportation industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Complete work orders for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with mobile emergency services as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided).
- Possession of a mechanic's tool set.
