As a Diesel Mechanic at Republic Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Under the direct supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance work on various vehicle components, including chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies, control systems, hydraulic electrical systems, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train, and steering systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and support our drivers as they run their routes, ensuring that our vehicles are in optimal condition for service.
