About the position
The Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing comprehensive body repair work on trucks, including tasks such as repairing and replacing fenders, hoods, and side panels, as well as sanding damages in preparation for painting. The role also involves minor fiberglass work, windshield replacement, and maintaining cleanliness of the trucks.
Responsibilities
- Perform all body repair work on trucks
- Repair and replace fenders
- Repair and replace hoods
- Sand all damages to prepare for paint
- Perform prepping and minor fiberglass work
- Replace new side panels
- Replace windshields
- Wash trucks
Requirements
- Experience in engine repair
- Assembly and mechanical skills
- Installation and blueprint reading
- Diesel maintenance and repair
- Brake repair
Nice-to-haves
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Punctuality and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and ask questions when unsure
