The Diesel Apprentice position at Love's Travel Stops involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will assist customers and drivers, ensuring their travels are pleasant. The apprentice program covers various diagnostic and repair skills related to diesel engines and vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Learn preventative maintenance services
- Maintain clean work areas
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
- Work in various temperatures
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
