The Diesel Technician Apprentice position at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting customers with roadside services and performing various diagnostic and repair tasks on diesel vehicles. The apprenticeship program provides hands-on training in electrical diagnostics, air conditioning repairs, and more, while ensuring a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Learn preventative maintenance services
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined with no professional experience required
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds.
