About the position
The Diesel Technician Apprentice position at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting with various diagnostic and repair tasks related to diesel engines and systems while providing excellent customer service. Apprentices will receive training in essential skills and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Learn preventative maintenance services
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined with no professional experience required
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Strong commitment to customer safety and satisfaction.
