About the position
The Diesel Technician position at Love's involves maintaining and repairing various mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment. Technicians will interact with customers and drivers, ensuring their satisfaction and safety while providing essential roadside services and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Provide preventative maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
