About the position
The Diesel Technician position involves repairing and maintaining diesel equipment, ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform diagnostics and quality inspections. Responsibilities
- Repair diesel equipment
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Responsible for all maintenance of the fleet
Requirements
- Previous experience as a technician/diesel technician
- Emissions and Inspection License required
- At least 2 or more ASE certifications required
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years of diesel technician experience preferred
